Although South Florida is home to people of all ages, the area attracts a large percentage of seniors due to the warm, lush subtropical climate and casual lifestyle. You'll never get bored with the variety of activities available to you.

Recreation

South Florida is unsurpassed when it comes to recreational opportunities. In fact, there are many movie theaters, bowling alleys, hotels and amusement parks that offer special discounts for mature adults.

Most communities have their own golf courses, pools and tennis courts available to area residents.

There are also many clubs, groups, organizations and activities available for socializing, exercising and soaking up the Florida sunshine. Additionally, most communities have "Senior Centers" which offer a variety of activities. Dining

We are very fortunate in Broward County to have a variety of restaurants in every price range. Unique to this area are our famous "Early Bird Specials" Generally, offered from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, these specials average a savings of 30-40% off the regular dinner price.

Volunteering

One of the many benefits of retirement is the extra time available to do what you never had time to do before. This presents an excellent opportunity for volunteering your time to various community service organizations.
